Mickey Munir, AIA, GMB
Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Mickey Munir, corporate president and chief executive officer, founded Sharif & Munir in 1978 and is recognized as one of Dallas’ premier builder/architects. He is professionally accredited as a licensed architect and licensed interior designer. In addition, he is recognized as a Certified Graduate Builder and Graduate Master Builder by the Home Builders Institute. Mickey is a member of numerous professional organizations including the Greater Dallas Home Builders Association, National Home Builders Association and American Institute of Architects, as well as serving the community as a board member of the North Texas Division of the National Kidney Foundation. Mickey graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.

Michael Munir, ASID, GMB
Corporate President and Chief Operating Officer

Michael Munir serves as the corporate vice president and chief operating officer. Michael is professionally accredited as a licensed interior designer and is recognized as a Certified Graduate Builder and Graduate Master Builder by the Home Builders Institute. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including American Society of Interior Designers, Greater Dallas Home Builders Association and National Home Builders Association. Michael graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in interior design and completed the Business Foundations Program.

Ben Beckelman, CPA, CGB, CGP
Chief Financial Officer

Ben Beckelman serves as Chief Financial Officer, bringing twenty years of home building, real estate and development experience in the Dallas area. He is both a Certified Public Accountant, and a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker. He has been awarded the Certified Graduate Builder and Certified Green Professional designations by the National Association of Homes Builders. Currently Vice President of the Home Builders Association of Greater Dallas Division, he has been called upon to give testimony in Austin, and Washington DC regarding legislative policy making regarding energy efficient homes.

Grady Yates
Vice President - Sales and Acquisitions

Grady brings more than 25 years experience in the Dallas real estate industry. Grady has worked with scores of homeowners in the selection of their homesites and their home design process in concert with some of the country's leading architects. He is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker.

Vernon Berry
Corporate Secretary and Manager, Architecture Department

Vernon Berry, corporate secretary, has been an architect with Sharif & Munir since 1979. He serves as the manager of the architecture department and in this role, he displays a creativity and talent that adapts to every client’s individual style. Vernon is a licensed architect with the State of Texas, receiving a Bachelor of Architecture degree, design option, from Texas Tech University.

Duane Pfannenstiel, GMB
Corporate Vice President, Head Project Manager

Duane Pfannenstiel, corporate vice president and head project manager, has been a valuable member of the Sharif & Munir team since 1985. He is recognized as a Certified Graduate Builder and Graduate Master Builder by the Home Builders Institute, as well as being a member of the Greater Dallas Home Builders Association. With more than 25 years of experience in luxury home construction, Duane possesses immeasurable experience in a variety of construction methods.

Mike Davis, GMB
Project Manager

Mike Davis brings more than 24 years of experience in the Dallas home building market to Sharif & Munir. He is recognized as a Certified Graduate Builder and Graduate Master Builder by the Home Builders Institute and a member of the Greater Dallas Home Builders Association. Mike has an Associate degree in Construction Management from Richland College, and has held his Texas Real Estate License.

Phil Cuny
Project Manager

With more than 25 years of experience in commercial and residential construction, Phil Cuny specializes in Sharif & Munir’s residential high-rise division. He is a licensed building contractor with the State of Florida, and is a licensed general contractor with the states of New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada. In addition, he has graduated from the Harwood Floor Institute in Nashville. Phil has a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Jason Vaile, GMB
Project Manager

Jason Vaile joined the Sharif and Munir team bringing over ten years of experience building custom homes in the Dallas area. He is recognized as a Certified Graduate Builder and Graduate Master Builder by the Home Builder’s Institute and a member of the Greater Dallas Home Builder Association. Jason has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Sciences from Texas A&M University.

John Manzer
Creative/Art Director - (Super Genius)

John Manzer has more than 25 years experience in construction management, design communication and building information modeling. He has extensive knowledge of computer aided design programs, allowing clients to visualize their potential homes three dimensionally with computer-aided fly-thrus and renderings. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Design from the University of Missouri.
